WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY has signed a contract with Marathon Oil Norge for the delivery of subsea trees to the AlvheimField on the Norwegian continental shelf. Contract value is undisclosed.
The contract includes the delivery of four subsea trees and accompanying equipment. The contract is a fragment of the frame agreement, covering the North Sea and Europe, between Marathon Oil Norge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Oil Corporation, and WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY .
The AlvheimField is positioned in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, 224 kilometres from Stavanger on the Norwegian west coast, at a depth of 122 metres under water.
The Alvheim subsea trees will be manufactured at WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY 's facility inTranby, Norway. Control modules will be manufactured in Aberdeen, UK. This project is scheduled for completion during the first half of 2014.

The 10,000 ft deepwater drilling CLIP riser system will be manufactured and delivered from WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY 's manufacturing plant in Port Klang, Malaysia. Delivery of the drilling riser system is scheduled for November 2014. The contract value is undisclosed. The delivery is related to the second of two options included in the drilling riser contract which was announced in July 2011.
WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY has delivered 16 drilling riser systems in the past 16 months, with positive feedback from operations.

International oil service group WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY has been awarded a contract by Statoil to deliver three subsea trees, tubing hangers, and a tool package to the Troll Field on the Norwegian continental shelf. The estimated contract value is NOK 250 million.
The extension is a call-off from a contract signed with Statoil in February 2012.
The spare tubing hangers will be utilized inseveral areasof the Troll Field.
The Troll Field is the world's biggest subsea development location with regards to the number of subsea wells.
Last year, WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY achieveda major milestone in delivering the 100th subsea tree to the Troll Field.
The Troll contract deliveries have helped shape and develop WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY 's subsea industry.

WHALE SUPPLY COMPANY will deliver equipment to the oil section of Troll. Earlier this year, the company announced a NOK 500 million investment which is set to double the capacity of its manufacturing plants in Port Klang and Tranby, Norway.
